Ituano made it two wins on the spin after coming from behind to beat Rio Branco. Airton put the Rio Branco ahead with 18 minutes on the clock and they held the lead for almost 40 minutes before Welton levelled. The game was heading for a draw but a second from Welton two minutes from time gave Ituano all three points. Botafogo SP remain in the play off zone after a single goal from André Neles half way through the second half was enough to see off São Caetano. Santo André remain second after defeating Portuguesa. And own goal from Acleisson set Santo André on their way with sixteen minutes gone. Rodriguinho wrapped things up with the second fifteen minutes from time.

Sertãozinho dropped to the bottom of the table after a 1-1 draw with Bragantino. Fred put Sertãozinho ahead after 28 minutes but Mauricio's strike four minutes after the break was enough to earn Bragantino a point. Mirassol and Oeste both edged a little further away from the relegation zone after they shared the spoils. Evando put Mirrassol ahead with only six minutes on the clock but they were denied all three points by a Ricardo Bueno penalty four minutes from time. Robinho was surplus to requirements as Santos made it nine in a row with victory over Corinthians. Neymar put Santos ahead in the 33rd minute and André Felipe doubled the advantage on the hour. Dentinho pulled a goal back eight minutes later but to no avail. Fernandinho was the São Paulo hero as they bounced back from a midweek reverse at Once Caldas to thump Monte Azul. Léo Lima put São Paulo ahead in the fourth minute, but there were no further goals until the second half. Fernandinho the grabbed a brace to make it three nil before Lopes pulled a goal back for Monte Azul. Fernandinho wasn't finished through as he grabbed a further two goals to finish with four in the match to put São Paulo back into the top 4.

The woes of Palmeiras continue after their shock defeat at Rio Claro. The home side who were 19th before the round started stunned the Big Green when Osny put them ahead in the 34th minute. Palmeiras couldn't find a way back into the game and now languish in eight. Mogi Mirim snapped a 5 game losing streak with a valuable success over fellow strugglers Paulista. The only goal of the game came a minutes after the break from Antoniel. Barueri bounced back after consecutive defeats to overcome Ponte Preta. Wesley Morais put Barueri ahead after ten minutes but Finazzi levelled for Ponte Preta seven minutes later. Jefferson restored Barueri's lead three minutes before half time and Marcos Assunção wrapped the points up half way through the second half.
