Campeonato Brasileiro Série A Catch Up

Internacional 3-0 Atlético Miniero

In the last catch up game to cover Inter's mid-season trip to Japan for the Sugura Bank Cup the home side moved up to second after a comfortable victory over Atlético-MG. The teams went in level at half time but Inter wrapped things up with 3 goals inside 10 second half minutes. Edu put Inter ahead, heading in five minutes after half time and three minutes later substitute Andres D'Alessandro doubled the advantage. His inital shot was saved by Bruno but the Atlético-MG defence didn't clear and D'Alessandro wasn't going to say no to a second opportunity. Edu wrapped things up when he added a second on the hour, again scoring with a header. Atlético-MG fall below Avaí on goal difference.
