In the live Premier Sports game, a late goal from Marcelhino gave Bragantino a shock victory over Santos. Léo Jamie had put Bragantino ahead with 25 minutes gone but Elano's tenth of the season from the spot on the half hour levelled matters. Corinthians remain second in the table on games won after a ninth minute goal from Liédson, his ninth of the season, gave them a single goal victory over Americana at the Pacaembu. Palmeiras went ahead with just six minutes on the clock when Kléber put them ahead from the spot but Artur levelled for São Caetano nine minutes from time. The game finished ten a-side after Anderson Marques of São Caetano and Thiago Heleno both saw red after a second half clash.
