Santos 1-0 Internacional
Vasco da Gama 2-0 Corinthians
The two catch up games in the Brasileiro took place this week, the first game was held over after Inter qualified for the Libertadores final went the way of the home side at the Vila Belmiro. One goal from the prodigy that is Neymar was enough to see Santos home and up into fourth in the table after their third straight win. With Santos and Internacional both already in the Libertadores next year, the last qualification spot could go a low as sixth and Botafogo currently fill that spot.
Corinthians title hope are coming apart at the seams after their third consecutive defeat left them five points adrift in the third. Vasco da Gama were the winners this time and they had the game wrapped up within the first twenty minutes at the São Januário. Zé Roberto put Vasco ahead with just nine minutes on the clock and on-loan striker Éder Luíis wrapped things up with just twenty minutes on the clock. Corinthians have now gone 6 games without a win and they must turn things round quickly if they are to claim the title in their centenary year.
Round 30 takes place this weekend and they line up like this
Flamengo x Internacional
Atlético Paranaense x Goiás
Guarani x Corinthians
Atlético Mineiro x Avaí
Grêmio x Cruzeiro
Atlético Goianiense x Vasco da Gama
Vitória x Prudente
São Paulo x Santos
Palmeiras x Ceará
Fluminense x Botafogo
